MARIST BROTHERS LINMEYER

Persisting, that is persevering at a task even though the resolution is not immediately apparent

As we enter the month of October with only 9 weeks of the academic year remaining and summer now almost in full swing given the heat wave over the last few days, we can easily be forgiven for feeling fatigued. But we cannot afford to; as there is still so much important work to be done and plenty to be achieved before the year is out. Now more than any other time of the year we need to employ the habit of persistence and make sure our pupils stick to the task and keep working right to the end, both inside the classroom and extramurally.

“By perseverance the snail reached the ark.”
