Mr Tyran Storrier

Mr Storrier joined Marist Brothers Linmeyer as our Medical Officer in 2019. He has 22 years of experience on the frontline of Emergency Medical Services and has a specialized interest in Paediatric and Neonatal care. His qualifications include CCA at Netcare SECC and ACLS, PALS  – Resuscitation Council of South Africa. His hobbies involve Cycling, Swimming and Running – which he combines in Triathlon events!  Family time is also an essential part of Mr Storrier’s life and he joined the School, in part, in order to be able to work at this Marist Brothers Linmeyer and watch his children (who are students here) grow. He believes it is the people at this school, who have welcomed him with nothing but goodwill and smiles, who have given him a sense of immediate belonging – they make the School a special place.

Mr Storrier’s favourite quote is by Warren Buffet who said, “They say the chains of habit are too light to be felt until they are too heavy to be broken; the chains you put around yourself today have enormous consequences in the future.” He is inspired by people with drive and the willpower to attempt the seemingly impossible.

People may not know that Mr Storrier’s personal Kryptonite is a weakness for Vanilla Ice Cream! However, it is his aim to work towards promoting healthy eating and a positive lifestyle in our students.
