Mrs Nataisha Mngomeni joined Marist Brothers Linmeyer in 2021 to take up the role of a Medical and Safety Officer. She is a fully qualified ECT Paramedic, Mrs Mngomeni is more than suited for this role at our school. Her background and interest in first aid stretches back to her own school days at Jeppe Girls where she was a member of the St John’s Ambulance, a First Aid captain and leader in her school’s First Aid team, which resulted in receiving Full Colours in Grade 10 for First Aid.
Not only is Mrs Mngomeni a First Aid specialist, she has also completed her Open Water Diving course as well as Fire Fighter One and a Hazmat Awareness course. In 2014, while at Team Impact Christian University, she completed a certificate in Ministry and in 2015 was awarded her Diploma in Ministry.
Mrs Mngomeni’s latest accomplishment in December 2020 however is in receiving her B.A. degree in ‘Forensic Science and Technology’ from Unisa.
She is an “involved person who tends to bubble with energy”. Mrs Mngomeni is keen, enthusiastic and we are confident that she will contribute greatly to the well-being and safety of our school. Being a young mother with a daughter of 2, Mrs Mngomeni has felt the need to settle down and instead of racing around in Ambulances on call with Netcare 911, she will be delivering and focusing her energies in a more regular timeslot, that suits the raising of her lovely young daughter.
