Ms Mikayla Blair

Ms Blair joined Marist Brothers Linmeyer in 2017, after the completion of a Bachelor of Science (Honours) majoring in Archeology and Geography, from the University of the Witwatersrand. She recently obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from UNISA. In addition to teaching Grade 8 Natural Sciences, Grade 9 Science and the Grade 10 Chemistry component of Physical Sciences, Ms Blair is the Master in Charge of Tennis.

In her free time, she likes to Read and Run. Her favourite quote is, “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care,” by Theodore Roosevelt.

Ms Blair was attracted to our School because of the innovative and interdisciplinary teaching approaches, such as E-Days, which strive for an interactive and fun, learning experience. She is inspired by the smile of a student and their enthusiasm to gain experience and knowledge. An interesting fact that not many people may know about Ms Blair is that she is a trained Archaeologist. In her opinion, the sense of community and Family Spirit making our School unique.
